East Nashville Drummers

Chrissy Kirkwood, East Nashville resident, announced that she will be heading up East Nashville's first drum circle. The first drum circle will be on August 30th from 4-7 at the Riverside Village which is also the home of Sips Cafe, Mitchell's Deli, Castrillo's and more!

She reports that "Dan Heller, the owner of the Village has been gracious enough to offer his beautiful courtyard for this gathering. This is a free event. Everyone is welcome... drummers of all levels, dancers and spectators. It's an amazing experience to be a part of."

"I have 7 extra hand drums that you can borrow. If you need a drum, let me know and I'll be sure to bring you one. Bring anything that makes noise: shakers, cowbell, tambourine, rain sticks, etc."

I'll have to check this one out to see what it's all about.
