So what’s the secret? We won’t know until you spill the details. Once the Facebook page comments grow, they will be integrated here for the rest of of the world to learn what we all love about this place we Nashvillians call home.
We’ll be categorizing everything as you bring it in. We’re especially looking for the little known things that happen in and around Nashville, but also the places that few people know about.
Great examples are things like an visual art show and local band showcase that happened in the backyard of a home near Mirror Restaurant in 12South a few years ago. The hosts and artist would love more people there, and everyone else would have liked to have known about it. SouthernBred Restaurant on Trinity Lane has built their entire restaurant on referral business. Newspapers can only get us so much information. Your word-of-mouth is the best thing we can do for these places. Help build the wealth and watch this evolve into a usable source.
Thanks!

On Saturday mornings only, SouthernBred on Trinity Lane has an amazing brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. You have to try the cinnamon rolls!
If you’re parking downtown near the convention center, you can park in the library lot and get free validation for up to 1.5 hours starting 2/23/2010.
East Park Community Center on Woodland is actually nicer than most of the gyms in the area and is FREE. They even have a free pool.
