Ok. I realize that being a Loan Officer makes me completely biased on the subject of Loan Officer Compensation. But, isn’t it within our human nature to want to be paid what the market says we should be paid? Wouldn’t you agree that the market should determine what we are all worth? And by ‘market’, I mean the combination of our employer and the consumer who has hired us to either sell a good or perform a service.

Inglewood Cherry Blossom Festival

On April 16, 2011, Inglewood will be celebrating their 1st Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Riverside Village from 11am-5pm. In addition to artist booths, food, music, and children’s activities, there will be specials offered by the neighboring restaurants and businesses. Proceeds benefit Inglewood Neighborhood Association’s efforts to plant more trees in the community and beautify the streets.

Post image for New Magnet School Enrollment Announced

New magnet school programs including Museum, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, Entertainment Industry, and Music Business will begin open enrollment March 1, 2011.  Metro Nashville Public Schools applied for a $12,000,000 grant last May to pay for the additional programs, and the money will assist in their development.  The schools also plan to educate students through partnerships with local universities, museums, and other related businesses and organizations.
