McFerrin Park

For years, McFerrin Park (37207) stood in the shadow of its due north neighbor, Cleveland Park. When McFerrin Park started closing homes at higher prices than Cleveland Park, it really started to turn heads. As home to the legendary Roxy Theater, homeowners are starting to see revitalization of the McFerrin commercial district around the theater. It's commonplace to see the neighbors post in the neighborhood Facebook group for everyone to meet up at a local bar or restaurant. With government grant money seeded into McFerrin Park in the mid-2000s, the area saw a rejuvenation of the once beaten and broken homes. One of Nashville's most beautiful fire stations also calls McFerrin Park home. As one of the three closest residential neighborhoods to downtown Nashville, residents love the fact they can take the "buffalo trail" into downtown via bike in two minutes or with a stroll in 10 minutes.
